The event will be hosted by A&O Shearman but will also include participation from a range of law firms and lawyers from a cross-section of private practice and in-house legal teams.
You can expect this event to be packed full of useful, targeted and inspiring information/advice. There will be several sessions across the day, focusing on the applications process, the mid level and how to manage your career progression, and the senior ranks of the profession. There will also be a lunch and networking session and a success stories session. This is a great opportunity to build confidence, insight, skills and connections in the legal sector!

Eligibility
To apply for this event, you must:
- be an Aspiring Solicitors member;
- be in any year of study at undergraduate or postgraduate education or be a graduate from university;
- be available to attend the entire event in-person on Thursday 5 March 2026 (reasonable travel costs will be reimbursed);
- be interested in the challenges facing women in law;
- have an interest in pursuing a legal career at a commercial law firm; and
- not have accepted a training contract with any law firm or legal team.
