Securing a job upon graduation from any institution is an obvious priority for most, if not all aspiring solicitors. To ensure aspiring solicitors are well placed to secure a job upon qualification, understanding what employers are looking for is essential. Therefore, the Employability Representative of each institution will work closely with the careers departments at that institution and will act as the student contact for employability issues. The Employability Representative will canvass ideas from aspiring solicitors and will promote Aspiring Solicitors employability events and talks at the institution. Aspiring Solicitors recognises that working closely with the careers/employability team at each institution is essential to avoid overlap and conflict. Therefore, this will be a key feature of this Headlight.
Founding Members, Affiliates and Professional Ambassadors will provide professional and practical assistance through this Headlight.
