Profile:

I am a legal apprentice at Kennedys Law LLP within the healthcare division specialising in clinical negligence. I studied A-Level Geography, History and Religious Studies at a state-funded grammar school in Sutton Coldfield, and despite nobody in my immediate family practising law, or even going to university, I had always had a dream of one day being a lawyer.

My route into law has been far from traditional. I joined Kennedys as a legal apprentice in 2021 straight from sixth-form during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic without any real experience of working in an office or even working in law. Alongside my role at Kennedys, I study paralegal qualifications at BPP university. I hope to progress onto the solicitor’s apprenticeship where I will be studying a master’s degree in law and ultimately qualifying as a solicitor.

I believe we should always embrace and celebrate diversity as it ensures empowerment and authenticity. I believe that a diverse and inclusive setting should be everyone’s main priority; a sense of belonging and inclusion is imperative for people to feel they can be themselves and thrive. I am immensely passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the legal industry and hope to inspire any aspiring solicitors by proving that anyone can do whatever they set their mind to.
